Ingredients
Scale
The key to this refreshing drink lies in selecting fresh, quality ingredients that bring out the best flavors. Inspired by my childhood experiments and professional kitchen experiences, I’ve crafted a simple yet delightful recipe.
- 1 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup pink cranberry juice for color
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
For a lighter version, substitute the heavy cream with coconut milk. Feel free to play around with the sweetness by adjusting the sugar content to your taste.
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, sugar, and cold water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the pink cranberry juice to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. This should take about 3-4 minutes with an electric mixer.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the lemonade mixture, creating a frothy, whipped texture.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes, then pour the whipped pink lemonade over the ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
