Learn how to make delicious Grilled Chicken Wrap. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients

Scale

To recreate this wrap that echoes the warmth of my grandma’s kitchen, you’ll need the following ingredients. Feel free to make substitutions as needed, just like my grandma used to adapt her recipes to whatever was fresh and available.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing (substitute with Greek yogurt for a healthier option)

Instructions

With these easy-to-follow steps, you’ll have a delicious wrap ready in no time, bringing a piece of my kitchen to yours.

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  3. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and juices run clear. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  4. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable.
  6. To assemble the wrap, lay out a tortilla and layer it with shredded lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Add the grilled chicken slices on top and drizzle with ranch dressing or Greek yogurt.
  8. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half and serve immediately.
