Learn how to make delicious Peach Cobbler Dessert Fries. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup store-bought frozen fries or homemade fries
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Optional: vanilla ice cream for serving

Feel free to substitute the peaches with nectarines if they’re more readily available, or use gluten-free flour to cater to dietary needs without sacrificing taste.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the peach slices with lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to release their juices.
  3. Spread the frozen fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and crispy.
  4. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, remaining cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture forms a crumbly topping.
  5. Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the peach mixture over the fries evenly. Top with the crumble mixture.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. For an extra indulgent treat, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
