Learn how to make delicious Salted Caramel Pretzel Cheesecake Balls. Easy recipe with step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips for coating
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable oil
  • Extra crushed pretzels for garnish

For a little variation, you could swap the chocolate chips for white chocolate, which adds a different kind of sweetness that pairs beautifully with the salted caramel.

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. This step always reminds me of whipping up frosting with grandma, where we’d sneak tastes until it was just right.
  2. Gently fold in the crushed pretzels, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes until they are firm. This will make them easier to handle when dipping in chocolate.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  6. Dip each cheesecake ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with sea salt and extra crushed pretzels.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the chocolate to set and flavors to meld.
